MEET SARA BEREIKA, CPO®

Certified Professional Organizer with 19 years of experience.

Sara has always been an organizer, spending hours as a child arranging her clothes and toys in her room. She was raised with principles of efficiency and structure. Her father valued order, and her grandmother, Jane, was an organizer before being an organizer was even a thing!

Clothes hanging in a closet are color-coded and organized.

For over 20 years, Sara Bereika has been cultivating calm in the most disorganized homes in Richmond, VA. Inspired by growing up in a hectic home, she now helps clients create spaces that feel beautiful and peaceful. Her favorite part isn’t the perfect Instagram-worthy “after” shot. It’s guiding people out of their clutter rut so they can move forward, without obsessing over perfection. Sara’s own life experience living with loved ones with addiction, juggling marriage and motherhood, running a business, and navigating grief has made her deeply empathetic and completely nonjudgmental. Clients feel seen, heard, and safe.

Sara is a chaos-taming certified professional organizer with a graphic design degree and a serious soft spot for mental health. Since launching her organizing business in 2005 (and earning her certification in 2009), she’s been helping people turn overwhelming spaces into places they actually love to live in. Her background in Graphic/Information Design means she sees rooms the way designers see layouts—balancing function, flow, and beauty. She’s trained to work with individuals with ADHD and completed the Organizer Coach Foundation Training Program with Coach Approach Training Institute in 2014, blending coaching know-how with hands-on organizing.

A recognized voice in the field, Sara was a recurring expert on A&E’s Hoarders, has been quoted in over 30 publications (including Real Simple, Homes and Gardens, GQ, Good Housekeeping, and Southern Living), and has trained fellow organizers as a speaker, author, and leader. She currently serves as Research Director on the ICD Board of Directors and stays active in her community as a volunteer at CARITAS.
Sara’s happiest when she’s hanging out with her favorite people: her son, an aspiring rockstar, and her husband, a former chef and YouTube award recipient and creator behind Kitchen&Craft. She’s the first in line to taste his latest culinary creations, then work them off roller skating, crafting up a storm, or towing the family Airstream off on a weekend adventure. At home, you’ll usually find her buried under a pile of purrs from her cats, Mars and Lemony Snicket. Sara recharges in the great outdoors and pours her heart into turning her home into the coziest, safest haven for the people she loves.
