Seeing an unusable space transform into an organized haven was incredible.

Sara Jane brought deep expertise and a great crew for this big job that had been waiting for years. She talked me off the ledge a few times and got to know me well enough to tailor a system I can easily stick with forever. When I saw the finished space, I realized that of course I couldn’t have done it alone!

In terms of the cost, I considered the square footage of the part of my house that had become unusable and figured out exactly how much of my monthly mortgage was being wasted because of the chaos, year after year. My daughter took one look and said, “I have no idea what you paid for this, but whatever it was, it was money well spent.”

I was shocked to find not just duplicates, but quadruplicates of items I didn’t even know I had! This process will pay off for years to come, as I learned that I can shop at my house! Everything I need is already there.

As odd as this sounds, I actually enjoy my time in the garage and utility room now. There’s so little in life that we have control over; at least these rooms behave exactly as I want them to.

Next up: my kitchen. If Sara can get me to enjoy cooking, that would be a true miracle."

My elderly parents had lived in these rooms and all of their belongings remained after their deaths. During my mother's final months much caregiving had been needed and I had accumulated numerous assistive devices and home health products. "Sara Jane Organizing was a total GAME CHANGER in the process of packing up my mother’s house and moving her to a retirement community – on both a practical and an emotional level. On a practical level, we were moving from a 2000 square foot house to a 900 square foot apartment. On an emotional level, my mother was sad to be leaving her house. And I was overwhelmed with all of it! Sara was amazing. She designed the floorplan of the new apartment to help my mother choose what furniture to bring.
